TRAINING AND VOLUNTEERISM PROGRAMME

Through training and supporting a volunteer programme, development and poverty programmes under VFA have continued to grow, even after our officers and donors leave a project site. We have discovered that nurturing local people take a lead in development is the best cure for persistent need for donor funds for community. VFA has also discovered that by empowering local people through training, more so in enterprises, a community will cease from being over dependent on donor aid and can initiate income generation projects on their own. Promoting volunteerism has also been a key pillar to success of VFA programmes.This has been possible through our key projects under this programme.
